Trip Summary

Prior Lake provided some amazing action this morning from 6:00 AM to 8:50 AM. The water temperature was holding steady between 70 and 71 degrees. The bite was steady with three bass caught, ranging from a 12-inch smallest to a 14-inch biggest, along with three northern pike, with the smallest at 18 inches and the largest reaching an impressive 32 inches. In addition to the predators, we brought in a bunch of nice bluegills and crappies, with the largest crappie measuring 11 inches and the biggest bluegill hitting 10 inches. Anglers can expect great success despite a bit of wind, as I had steady cloud cover the whole time—just be sure to layer up!
