Trip Summary

Evening fishing was successful even over hot water and big boat traffic. we caught 5 bass and 1 Northern pike. It was another great time with amazing customer.

I headed out on Prior Lake with my clients for an evening trip, and with the water really heating up this July, I knew the bite might be a bit different. Despite the busy boat traffic, we managed to find some aggressive fish, landing six pike and four bass.

Water temp just boiling 83f, but we still land 5 bass and 1 small Northern Pike on boat?.The panfish was very active, too. Also was a great swimming time.

On Lake Minnetonka, we caught four bass and two pike by 11:00 a.m. + two musky follows before noon. After noon, before 1pm, 3 more pike. Pike was from 18" to 26".
