Trip Summary

I am severely behind on posts! Had 6 drum trips in the past two weeks and had great success in all but one where we had a tough bite in the morning. Fishing is good! Lots of fun is being had! These fish won’t be around much longer though, definitely my favorite time of year for the little boat!

Got to take my wife out for the first time since we had the baby a month ago. All you could want and some out there.. drag screaming little torpedos out there in big schools. Running and gunning for these guys is definitely an awesome way to get em. I like to call it combat fishing ?. Fun fun fun fall fishing out of our area right now!

Fun day sight casting Spanish in 2-5 feet of water! Watching them blow up glass minnows in shallow water is a pretty fun way to catch em’. I don’t like to troll for Spanish on my boat you’ve got to work for them and feel them steal the lure out of your hands! Ran across a school of at least 5,000 pounds of jumping mullet on the way home so threw the net for them to get a grilled mullet experience aswell!
