Very hot out and it sounded like a lot of other boats weren’t catching fish. We were lucky to have a great guide and caught fish despite the heat!

Don't get a savage sunburn 2 days beforehand :(. Serious sunblock. Two bottles of water, sunglasses, and a hat. Moderate size cooler bag with a strap, but you can buy ice at the marina after. Consider what music to play. A sense of adventure!
