Cabo Fishing Uses the Dredge Presentation
Blue Star incorporated a dredge into the morning fishing program.
A dredge creates the visual impression of a concentrated school of bait moving behind and below the boat. The objective is to add another attraction element to the trolling spread and encourage offshore predators to investigate.
For Richard and Yoagny, the morning produced two different species.

Cabo Offshore Fishing Produces Variety
The marlin supplied the billfish encounter and was returned to the Pacific after the fight.
The dorado added another experience entirely. Dorado are aggressive pelagic predators recognized for speed, powerful runs, vivid coloration and aerial displays.
A five-hour charter creates a relatively compact operating window. Offshore travel time must be considered leaving Cabo San Lucas Marina and again when returning, making efficient use of productive water particularly important.
On December 4, Blue Star's available five hours produced both marlin and dorado for two anglers.
The private nature of the charter also allowed Richard and Yoagny to enjoy the morning at their own pace, including Richard's requested Heineken aboard.
They returned at 11:00 AM with two species on the fishing record: one marlin successfully released and one dorado retained.
