Cabo Fishing Report – September **hidden content** Marlin Released, 10 Dorado
32' Luhrs Blue Star – 10-Hour Charter – 11 Fish
A full 10-hour run aboard the 32' Luhrs Blue Star with Blue Sky Cabo Fishing Charter and Tours gave Robert, Shawn and Tory a serious day of Cabo sportfishing. The three anglers departed F Dock at 6:00 AM with lunch aboard, the Blue Sky Cabo dredge in the fishing program and a full day available to work the Pacific.
Their charter produced an excellent combination of two signature Cabo species: one marlin and 10 dorado. The marlin was released under Blue Sky Cabo's billfish conservation practices.

Cabo Fishing Charter Built Around a Full Day
Ten hours creates a very different fishing opportunity from a typical half-day charter.
Robert, Shawn and Tory dedicated virtually the entire daylight fishing window to being aboard Blue Star. The extended schedule gave the crew time to continue searching, adapting and working as the day developed rather than facing an early turnaround.
Lunch for all three guests was included, helping keep the charter focused on fishing throughout the day.
The group also booked the Blue Sky Cabo dredge.
A dredge creates a concentrated subsurface presentation designed to resemble a school of baitfish behind the boat. It adds another visual component to an offshore trolling program and was specifically included as part of this charter's fishing setup.
Marlin and Dorado Define Cabo Fishing
The final result gave the three anglers two very different offshore experiences.
Dorado are among Cabo's most recognizable game fish, famous for their brilliant coloration, aggressive behavior and value as table fare.
A marlin brings an entirely different dimension to a charter.
Billfish are deeply connected to the international sportfishing reputation of Cabo San Lucas, and even a single marlin encounter can become the defining memory of a fishing vacation.
Blue Sky Cabo releases marlin, so this fish returned to the Pacific after the encounter.
The dorado were retained.
Private Cabo Charter Aboard Blue Star
With only three anglers aboard, Robert, Shawn and Tory had Blue Star dedicated to their group for the entire 10-hour trip.
The original booking also records a few personal details that make this charter different from another fishing day. The group arranged three quick-dry Blue Sky Cabo crew shirts in different sizes along with a cap.
These details don't change the fishing result, but they help document the guest experience surrounding the charter.
The available historical record does not identify the captain, exact fishing grounds, individual bait or lure selections. Those details are therefore not being added retrospectively.
