Tuna are powerful game fish known for their endurance and deep-running fights. Dorado, also called mahi-mahi, are recognized for their bright colors and energetic movements near the surface. Skipjack add another dimension to Cabo fishing with their speed and spirited resistance. The original booking identifies the tuna only as tuna, without confirming the exact species. Individual fish weights and fishing locations were not documented. The two skipjack were recorded as released under Blue Sky Cabo's established fish-handling policy. Cabo Fishing Yacht – A Private Family Excursion Margarita and Mike selected the Blue Star for a fishing outing that included their two children, Noah and Paulina. A private five-hour charter provides families with a dedicated fishing experience while leaving much of the afternoon available for other vacation activities. The scheduled 6:00 AM departure allowed the group to begin its morning at IGY Marina. Captain Jorge was assigned to the vessel, although the original charter record does not identify the specific bait, lures or techniques used. Individual catches were not assigned to particular passengers. The eight-fish result is therefore recorded as a shared family charter achievement. Cabo Fishing Charter – December Offshore Variety Cabo San Lucas is internationally recognized for its offshore sportfishing opportunities. The region's Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez environments support a variety of game fish throughout the year. The December 29 Blue Star record provides a historical example of tuna, dorado and skipjack appearing during the same private fishing excursion. For visitors planning a family fishing charter, this trip illustrates the species variety that can be encountered during a shorter morning reservation.
