Cabo Marlin Fishing Charter – Three Billfish in Six Hours Marlin are among the most exciting game fish pursued in Cabo San Lucas. Known for their powerful runs, remarkable strength and impressive fighting ability, these offshore predators attract visiting anglers throughout the year. For the five guests aboard the Blue Star, the three-marlin result made their six-hour reservation a particularly productive morning. All three billfish were released under Blue Sky Cabo's conservation policy. The original record does not specify the exact fishing grounds or techniques responsible for the catches. Cabo Fishing Yacht Charter – Private Luhrs Blue Star Experience The 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star is part of the privately owned and managed Blue Sky Cabo sportfishing fleet. Operating from F Dock at IGY Marina, the vessel provides private offshore fishing experiences for visiting groups. Unlike shared fishing trips, a private charter reserves the yacht exclusively for the booked passengers. For Travis, Pam, Henry, William and Thomas, the six-hour schedule offered a substantial morning on the water while leaving the afternoon available for other vacation activities. Cabo Fishing Charter Report – Group Fishing Vacation This charter was coordinated by Zach, who also arranged a separate multi-day fishing itinerary aboard the 35-foot Riviera Blue Water. Henry, William and Thomas appeared on that earlier reservation, making the Blue Star outing part of a broader group fishing vacation. Separate yacht bookings can provide flexibility when guests want different fishing schedules or vessel experiences. For this group, the additional morning aboard the Blue Star resulted in three successful marlin releases. Cabo Fishing Report – Responsible Billfish Conservation Blue Sky Cabo emphasizes catch-and-release fishing for marlin. Releasing billfish helps support responsible sportfishing and the long-term conservation of these highly valued offshore species. The January 16 charter recorded a 100% marlin release rate, with all three fish returned to the ocean. The successful outing demonstrated that a six-hour private fishing charter can provide excellent billfish opportunities when conditions are favorable.
