I LOVE WINTER TIME FISHING!
December 28, 2021 Jacksonville 7 photos

Trip Summary

As December comes to a close and the water and air temps drop dramatically our shallow water creek fishing starts to heats up. Mud flats are the key to finding schooling redfish. Its not uncommon to catch double digit numbers of redfish each trip. In addition trout are starting to school up in the deeper pockets. Where you find one you better believe theres more in the same area. Barometric pressure also plays a big part in the fishing during winter time with fronts moving through out Northeast Florida (Mayport, Fernandina, Jacksonville Beach, St. Augustine). Book a charter and lets get on them soon before the water temps start to rise. -Capt. Jason
