There aren't enough words for the river today! I had Adam and Matt out there and they bit from start to finish. We ran over 20 miles to start the day and from our first cast all the way back up to the dam they were biting. Adam has been on the river a good bit and booked this trip just to learn some things and get on some new areas of the lake. None of the new areas disappointed. We landed over 40 fish today and had a huge 5 fish limit. We mixed in great quality of all 3 species throughout the day which is my absolute favorite thing to do. The river is starting to show out a little bit, especially this week. It's scary to say, but I truly feel that it is only going to improve. Guys thanks so much for coming out! They'll be back in October to try and top today's production and I think we can. I had an awesome trip to end the week! I had Roger back today along with his nephew, Tyler and his brother, Tojo (I'm sure I spelled that nickname wrong). We ran all over the lake today to try and change things up. We started the morning up river and the bite was pretty slow with the lack of current. We were still able to get a few bites, then around lunch time we ran down to some grass and were able to get a couple of really nice bites! We had a couple get off in the grass which is normal, but it was definitely worth the run, and like some other guys have been saying, the grass is gonna be in play big time in the coming weeks. To end the day we ran back up to the north end where they had started generating and it was on! We got on a great flurry to end the day capped by Tyler landing an absolute stud largemouth. He had another one get off about 3 casts later, but we were still happy with the one we got in! We left them biting to avoid the rain and came in a little bit early. 2 days left at the end of the month and the fall is getting full! Reach put to book a trip. I had some awesome clients today! We got out for a morning trip and absolutely wore them out. I'd love to get out there with you too!
