The inshore fishing at the mayport jetties has been red hot this past week. We have been catching plentiful amounts of Sheepshead,Black drum, Spanish Makeral and Redfish. These are perfect trips for kids and people new to fishing as well as seosoned anglers. These are a few pictures from trips this past week!

The spring time is a great time to get out there on a calm day and catch some good fish before the water gets too hot and they move further offshore. The triggerfish, Beeliners, grouper, snapper, Seabass are all plentiful on the near shore artificial reefs it is a great time to get kids and young ones out on the water so they don’t have to take a long ride offshore in the summertime to catch bottom fish!

Every day that the water warms up different species begin to show up that haven’t been here since last year right now the Spanish Makeral, Bluefish, Whiting, Pompano, Black drum, Sheepshead and Redfish are all biting around the jetties and near shore areas.
