Jim and DJ joined us today for an 8 hour adventure onti the Indian Ocean. After a slow start we had a solid hit on our short flat and the fight was on for DJ. After a short but entertaining fight DJ managed to get the forst fish of the day inti the boat and it was a lovely wahoo. We layed our lines again and started back at trolling, the mid morning to early afternoon was slow with light winds, blazing sunshine and very little action in the surface or around the lures. As all hope was diminishing for a second strike again our short flat started screaming but this time ot hit the 30W, so a fight was on hand. Jim took to the fighting chair and proceeded to get rod in hand and start reeling, being an experienced fisherman, reeling in this horse of a barracdu. Sadly that was the lazt of our bites deeite valiant effort from the skipper and crew. We are so chuffed that Jim, DJ and his sife hasa blast onboard our boat and we look forward to welcoming them onbourd in the futre.
