Thank you. Glad you and your Family enjoyed. We appreciate the Business. Like the photos.
Overall it was a good trip! Caught some smaller fish and hooked in a tiger shark and lost another before getting him to the boat. If you want to catch more fish you need to do a longer trip. It takes a while to chum the water and get the sharks coming up. Right before we left we got alot of bites . If we would of hung out there a couple of more hours we would of def hung a few more! Itโs an hour there and back to most shark spots, thatโs 3 hours fishing if you do a 5 hour. The captain and his helper were both really good with my kids. They even let my son steer the boat some. Iโm going to defend this charter, I seen reviews about overall condition of the boat, yes itโs older but I wouldnโt expect anything different with a deep sea fishing trip. Itโs not suppose to be super nice but rather get you to the spot and back. Iโd feel comfortable chartering with them in the future!

Well Thank You. I will take a look at making this a 6 hour trip. Thanks for the input. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Hope to see you again. We appreciate the business.
I have been deep sea fishing several times. Half the time on charters and the other times with buddies that have a big enough boat. This was the best charter fishing trip I have ever been on. The trip was 5hr AM trip. It was an hour out and another hour back. So the 3 hrs fishing was action packed. My kids was wore out. The first mate Wes was very helpful with my kids (baiting, taking fish off, untangling, etc) Next time Iโm down this way I will definitely be booking another trip.
Glad you and your Family enjoyed your trip. We try on Both Boats to make things happen. Beat the weather and it All worked out. Thank you for the Business and come back when you can.
We went on a morning four hour trolling trip in search of King Mackerel. The weather was absolutely great and the bites started not long after we got the lines in the water. We struck out on a few early ones due to bass fisherman on our boat adjusting to ocean fishing. Once we got the hang of it, we landed a few nice Kings and one was at least 25 lbs. Unfortunately, dolphins noticed our success and stole at least 4 from us before we could reel them in.ย Dylan was a tremendous deckhand that was great at letting us get the full experience. He taught us a ton about fishing and we greatly appreciate It.ย Overall, it was a great trip, and we will remember this experience forever.ย If youโre looking for a boat and crew that will put you on the fish, work hard, and show you a great time, then choose The Gotta Believe.

Glad yโall had a good time. Dolphins are not always a good thing like you saw. Beautiful animals but pains in the butt. Come see us again. Thanks
To start, we got moved from a state certified boat to a federal certified boat. This meant 2 hour journey out 9+ miles, fished for 2 hours, 2 hour journey back. All for over $1,300!!!ย Not sure we wouldโve ever met the captain had I not walked in to introduce myself to him. He never went over any safety procedures or protocols. Never told my party of 5 where the restrooms were. We went to 4 different locations. Caught quite a bit at the first stop, none at the second, a few at the third, and a one at the last stop. To matters worse, the engine cover had been painted recently but we were obviously never informed, so 3 of us got paint on our clothes.
All in all, I spent a whole lot of money for a 4 hour journey, 15 fish, paint on our clothes, and a crew that literally didnโt speak to us unless we spoke to them. Pretty frustrating experience to say the least.

Well we hate Mr. Cleveland did not enjoy his trip. I donโt argue with people on these reviews but I will address the topics. First I called Mr. Cleveland and ask about swapping boats for a few reasons. First the time frame of his trip was open Red Snapper season on Federal Boat vs. Closed season on State Boat. So it made sense to me. Next The weather was not great the 12 Days of Snapper season. So the Federal Boat is bigger and rides better in choppy conditions. So I was trying to make the best situation for a 6 hour Trip. I also asked I did not tell him he had to do it. I presented the reasons and we had a agreement. It was a better plan. And He agreed. Next the ride. When fish are not close on a 6 hour we ride. Burn the fuel. We get paid no more. If we stay close and catch less or no keepers then we would be talking about how bad the fishing was review. Next the paint. All paint projects on that boat were completed by first week of April. So there was no recent painting. Now itโs a engine cover heat under it from motor and now 100 degrees outside temperature above it may have fouled it in a place or 2 but I will look into it. Also that is outside. There is a cabin with couch and cushions inside under a A/C. Also Capt drives inside more interaction if your in there. He cannot drive outside. Also remember the first 12 days of June we rough. Boat made 11. They had gotten there teeth kick in for days. So maybe they where not that talkative but not disrespectful. So I can live with that. The boat is a simple layout. One level, only door in cabin is the bathroom so itโs not hard to find. A lot of boats for Charter in the area do not even have a Bathroom. So all I can do is present my side of the story. Cause it is my business. I know my boats and crews and will put them in best situations I can. So sure I will change things. I Will make recommendations. But I did not ask for anymore money, Capt. Burned the fuel and they did catch fish. Better quality than staying in close. And had a better ride. So hopefully Mr. Cleveland will enjoy his next fishing trip I know it wonโt be with us.
