Al put on quite a fishing show for us today. Boat was very comfortable, and we started catching Coho salmon by 07:30 am. There were a lot of throwbacks due to small fish & various BC rules - but we still wound up with 9 total fish and easily 20+ pounds of gorgeous reddish salmon fillets. Including a chunky 14 pounder. Al had a lot of enthusiasm which my 16 and 13 year olds enjoyed - they are avid fishermen and were very satisfied with the equipment used. He even talks American football an expert level. So an easy 5 stars!!!

Alโs a pro. The boat was clean and prepared for the trip. Al knew where to go and let us participate as much as we wanted to. Weโve fished before so it was nice to be supported without feeling like he was taking over. We caught our limit - bonus!ย We didnโt even have to clean them!

Captain Al was great and the boat was comfortable and well equipped. It was fun finding my sea legs while reeling in the salmon. Although the salmon were being a bit shy with post-rain weather, Al made sure to try and try again to get *the big one*. We still caught 8 decently sized salmon and, more importantly, hooked us into returning.

As this was my first fishing trip I was evidently a little worried about the whole process, however the whole experience went above and beyond all my expectations. Great experience, great captain, great ship, great fishing, great communication. I recommend to anybody who is looking to book a charter !
