It was an amazing day, calm and beautiful. Porpoises and humpback whales and salmon! Lots of them. Cal is a super competent skipper and guide, besides being a friendly and genuinely nice guy. The boat and equipment are super. I caught a lot of salmon and released many, retaining my limit. I would go back again any time. Thanks for a great day.

Experience that we will remember and probably revisit in the future. Captain Cal was amazing, knowledgeable and engaging.  He guided us through every step of the way. Great energy and attitude. We had a rainy day, but were able to catch a smaller halibut and when we came back we pulled up some Crab traps and got good feed of crab. Highly recommend would do it again.

Al is the perfect guide - took care of us very well, caught our limit of salmon then tried some other species. Super nice, helpful, informative, would absolutely recommend and will be back soon.

Captain Al is very knowledgeable.  We are a group of 5 with 3 kids which he was able to accomplish all our needs.  (Crabbing, salmon…).  Will definitely book again next time we visit Sooke.

Had a great day with captain Al and caught some nice salmon. Wanted to do some Halibut so captain Al recommended another captain so the next day we went out with captain Richard and caught a nice Halibut and a few more salmon. Over all I fully recommend captain Al for getting you onto fish and having a awsome day doing it.
