Captain Phil and firstmate Matt were extremely nice and made the morning very enjoyable. This was absolutely a family friendly charter.  Captain Phil and Matt did a great job accommodating my 6 year old’s questions, letting him help get bait, offering encouragement, and devoid of smoking (usually chain) and coarse language I usually experience on other boats. The only reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars are that the boat and some gear are beginning to show their age, but functioned flawlessly.  There was some down time to retie leaders and re-rig some rods, which could have been done ahead of time or in the way out to avoid lost fishing time.  The one thing the struck me as odd was that we stopped fishing at 5 hours for Matt to clean the fish, with the understanding that we would resume fishing after he finished.  That said, it was a safe, fun, fishy morning. I’d definitely book with Captain Phil again.

Great day on the water with Captain Phil & Matt - they were all over the stripped bass and we had a great time.  Highly recommended.

We had a great half day with Capt Phil and Owen.  Took home 4 big fish and had non-stop action the whole time.

Great fun with many fish caught as well as a large sea-robin.  Crew very helpful and efficient- mates both excellent. One of our best days in over 20 years of fishing in Cape Cod every summer.
