I have been on a lot of Fishing Charters in the U.S and Abroad and I had a lot of fun with these guys. We were able to see the most breathtaking scenery, sample some amazing Greek food prepared by the Captains Wife, get some history on Santorini and land a few fish. I highly recommend this trip.

This was a fantastic trip!  My husband and I were in Santorini for 8 days, and this was one of the highlights of the trip.  The views from the boat were absolutely stunning.  Nick and Makis were a delight from the moment we got on board.  We soaked up the stunning landscape while trolling the sea!  Once we caught a fish, Makis took us to the hot springs and we swam while he grilled our catch. The meal was amazing - best fish ever and tomato balls made fresh from his wife earlier that day.  We ended with a picture perfect sunset in Ammoudi Bay.  I highly recommend this to anyone!

My wife and I ventured to Greece from the States for our honeymoon.  Between Athens, Santorini, and Crete over 14 days, one of the highlights of our trip was a day on the water with Capt. Makis and 1st mate Nikolas.  We were welcomed aboard with smiles and left with hugs!!!  I’m an avid fisherman and have been to top notch destinations throughout the world.  This day was my attempt at introducing my fishing passion to my wife who was a 1st timer.  These 2 guys made our day exceptional…finding fish for me to catch for lunch accompanied with Capt. Makis’ wifes excellent tomato balls, meatballs, & Greek salad,  Upon catching small grouper for lunch, she and I swam to the hot springs while they prepared lunch.  We lounged in a secluded cove to enjoy our feast and then were dropped off in Fira even though we launched out of Ammoudi Bay since we were staying in Imergovigli.  The entire trip was full of laughs, smiles, and now new friends!  When we return to Greece, a day on the water with these 2 guys is definitely on our itinerary.

As an avid fisherman, it really wasn’t easy to find fishing tours in Santorini. Many of the hits we got were for sightseeing, snorkeling, sunset cruises, etc. We were thrilled to finally find Pirate Fishing Tours and Captain Makis. The Captain and his first-mate, Adonis know the water well and we were able to do some real fishing, in addition to a few stops for sightseeing around the island. The fishing itself was terrific and the lunch on board was top-notch. They grilled our days catch on board, and with the tomato balls and tzatziki homemade by the captains wife it was one of the best meals we had on the island all week. If you are going on the water in Santorini with anyone else, you’re missing out. Yàmas!
