Booked 3 full day charters last week (Wednesday, Thursday, & Saturday). All 3 days were amazing. Capt. Alex put us on the fish every day and never stopped hunting all day long. The crew on deck (David and Luis) treated us like family. They never stopped working and always made sure we were trying new methods if things got a little slow. Over the 3 days we ended up with 5 Yellowfin Tuna, 2 Mahi Mahi, 2 Sailfish, and 2 Blue Marlin. We also had several other billfish and wahoo strikes that never hooked up - can’t win em all! Not only was the fishing great, but the captain/crew/boat made this one of the most enjoyable and fun fishing experiences of our lives.
We look forward to a return visit to fish with Alex/David/Luis!

Alex and Luis did a great job on our 6 hour trip. We left Tamarindo at 7:30 am and motored south west until 8:20 am. We had our first fish on before 8:30 and it was a beauty…a 300-350 lb marlin that put a great fight and show for 50 minutes until we got it to the boat and tagged and released it. Luis and Alex did an amazing helping make that happen! In the next hour we got a 2 beautiful Mahi’s, a 20 lb and a 30 lb that led to some great dinners during out stay here ! The bite went quiet after than but Luis kept trying different baits and Alex kept us moving looking for fish. It was a great day and we would definitely book with Alex and Luis again !

Took my 6 year old grandson on his first Deep sea fishing. I was worried about him getting sea sick and not enjoying the trip. Captain and crew went out of their way to make sure him and rest of our guest enjoyed our trip. Started by hooking a Marlin, a couple of minutes later a Dolphin and shortly there after a second Dolphin weighing over 20 lbs. Thanks to Captain and crew for a great experience. Smile on his face said it all.
I’ve been fishing all over the world and this was first class. Jon met us on the beach in the morning and the boat was pristine. Alex and Chalupa were amazing, we caught 2 giant amberjacks and hooked up on 2 swordfish. After the trip, we walked up to the beach bar where Alex and C$ took care of us and had all the fish blackened and turned into Ceviche by the chef. We fed the entire restaurant and all the local vendors. We hung out there drinking cervezas till 3:30. I’ll never go fishing with any other guides in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!!
