Jason was flexible with his schedule based on the weather. We moved the time because the weather would be better and it would be more comfortable. He stayed out a little later to make sure we caught the amount of fish that we wanted. Couldn’t be more impressed with Jason’s focus and flexibility on making our trip the best it could possibly be. I would recommend him to anyone going to Islamorada to fish. He is 100% customer focused!!

Jason is great. Went with my wife. Our charter started on time and we found him right away. He was ready with different baits and reel setups depending on water conditions and fish that’s in season. He was knowledgable on a lot of different fishing spots and was flexible with going to spots where we were the only ones fishing. We also did snorkeling. We did a quick two hour fish with our kids (9 and 11) for their first time fishing the ocean.  Jason knew right where to go, patiently baited and rebaited the hook (for all of us), and was great with the kids keeping them active and engaged.  He even kept us out there a little longer since we were into some snapper.  We caught a couple of dozen fish in the two hours… kept half of those for “hook and cook” at Robbie’s :)

My 12-year-old son and I had an awesome two-hour fishing trip with Captain Jason. The captain was very knowledgeable and really patient with my son, who’s pretty new to saltwater fishing. My daughter and I had a great time on our 2 hour fishing trip. Just enough time to have a great time but not enough time for my teenager to get bored. Neither of us are experienced fishermen, but Captain Katz took time to show us exactly what to do and we were catching fish in a matter of minutes.
