I booked a 5 hour fishing trip with Always Fun Charters out of Ft Meyers Beach. I went with my two sons a daughter in law and two grand daughters.ย We liked the fact that captain Neilโs boat the Sea Hawk at 41 feet is much more substantial then most of the charters. There is an on board head (toilet) and plenty of room to get out of the sun. There is also plenty of room for 6 people to fish without getting lines tangled. It was fairly windy so we stayed near shore and did bottom fishing. We all caught some fish and had 7 keepers. The grand daughters and daughter in law who have hardly ever fished had quite the thrills reeling them in. Captain Neal did a great job at finding the fish and first mate Jenna kept up with removing fish and keeping the hooks baited. Jenna also cleaned all the fish at the end of the trip. We all had a great time and would book with them again.

We had an absolute blast near Sanibel Island! First, we reeled in a bunch of trouts, one by one, and it was a blast for the whole family. And guess what? We even caught a shark with our own-caught bait! It was an epic fight, and an experience weโll never forget. Thanks a million to Neil and Peter for being such great guides. They made sure we had the best time possible!.
Ed and the Captain where great.ย Feel free to call the Captain with any questions,ย heโs happy to talk to you. We where happy with what we caught .( Even though the Captain and Ed where not). The Captain really knows what heโs doing. He knew what was under us. Some times they just donโt bite. We made a nice meal out,of Whitings and Trout, thanks Ed for filleting them. Caught some cool looking fish not keepers too! Thanks for the memories. Like I said call the Captain with any questions.
Captain Neil and Captain Ethan were great! We had three generations out for our family fishing trip. Everyone had fun, ages 4 to 77. When the fog was too heavy to leave the bay when we first departed, captain Neil found a spot where we could catch fish while waiting for it to lift. Captain Ethan was super helpful with rigging our lines, giving tips on technique, and keeping our hooks baited. And both are a pleasure to talk with!
