Last minute booking with Coach.  Great trip.  He did his best to put us on some fish. It was just slow fishing.  He’s a personal guy and we will book again.

On the 21st of July we had a great trip, but there are a few details I wanted to point out. First, on the site there wasn’t a specific address and we had to take some time to contact the captain, and he told us a completely different address than the one on the website. When we arrived on time, there were many boats and we wasted time searching for the one because no one met us at the entrance. In 10 minutes the captain called us and finally met us. The trip started 15 minutes late (7:15am).The captain explained to us that the boat won’t be making any stops but constantly moving, my kids and I were disappointed because we never got to hold the fishing rods (the capitan gave my son held the fishing rods 3-4 times for a few min) and fish the way normally people do, he did a type of fishing where the rods were attached to the sides of the boat during moving boat. Before on fishing trips we did cast fishing and had so much fun (we drove out to the sea and fished with bait and rods and caught some, let some go, and went to the next destination) We were disappointed here because we didn’t understand what kind of fishing it was and we couldn’t do anything. He explained that because it’s so hot we couldn’t stop to fish, but I don’t think at the speed we were going we couldn’t catch any fish anyway. Once we understood it was too hot and there wouldn’t be much fishing, as optomistic people we just decided to enjoy the ride and weather. My kids relaxed and enjoyed themselves on the open sea, sun, and waves, with the fun rocking and splashing. Separately I want to talk about the captain and the boat. The boat itself was clean and in good shape, I couldn’t see a bathroom or life vests, maybe they were hidden. On the site it said the boat is supposed to hold 6 people, but I think it’s more of 4. The captain was an amazing person. He was kind, positive, and joyful. Unfortunately we only caught one fish (we didn’t hold any of rods). The captain drove us more near the shore for shark fishing (where we finally stopped for 20 min) but unfortunately we didn’t catch anything. We didn’t hold the fishing rods, only my son two times. In conclusion, it wasn’t bad, and I’m not a fisher, maybe there are some rules, and the speed fishing is a way to catch fish, and in the heat (90s) the fish were not abundant, but for $600 I think they need to write out the whole fishing process on the site so people know what to expect. We had a great trip just relaxing and riding on the ocean. Unexpected, but enjoyable.
