Started out the day by running out of the bay and trolling for big game fish. Then went closer to shore outside the bay and used live bait to try and catch fish there. After that we traveled to a submerged rock pile and fished for Grouper or Snapper with live bait. Then with some bites but no takers on the rock pile we trolled in the bay for Spanish Mackerel, no luck. We ended up fishing with live bait again close to shore and hooked onto a nice Mahi Mahi. Unfortunately wasn’t able to land it before it threw the hook as it was coming close to the boat. My wife was able to catch a nice Rooster Fish right after that and was able to land it. Once again the Queen out fishes me.

Overall the Captain and Mate seemed very knowledgeable about the fish and the area. They had equipment to target multiple species of fish. The boat was very clean and well kept. The sunshade was very nice.

Though we didn’t catch the fish we would have liked, that’s the way fishing goes some times, It is a it is. I would book another trip on the Flipper.

It was half a day of fishing. It was fish…. The time on the water was enjoyable. We caught some fish and lost some fish. The boat was clean and well cared for. The fishing equipment was in good but, warn condition.Some of the hooks were rusty and could have been replaced.
The captain seemed to be very knowledgeable. He knew the area. He knew the boat and his equipment. All in all, good captain. It was a good day.

Great trip….will be doing a repeat trip in a couple of days.  Bonita, mackerel, whales, and fresh sushi…Awesome!!
