The trip was great. Fishing was a little slow, but the mate kept changing the lures, and the captain kept trolling so we did end up catching a bunch of good eating Spanish Mackerel. We had one little girl with us with a broken arm, who was shy and didnโt want to fish until the end, and the captain kept us out until she caught one too. So very kind.
The group consensus is we would do it again.

This was our first time going deep sea fishing. It was a blast going out with Captain Shane and his First Mate Parker and Shawn. They were very knowledgeable, put us on fish within minutes of getting to our destination and we were one fish shy of maxing out our King Mackerel catch for the day!! Would definitely recommend this charter and will be using this team again for future trips to the NC Coast!
