What a great day!  Captain Carl is as nice as they get, and it was clear from our arrival that he was there to make sure we caught fish and had fun.  We were hoping to get into some King Mackeral, and we were one of only 2 boats to get one, but they just weren’t biting.  So we switched gears, and came in-shore where we slayed the Spanish.  Deckhand Coby was top notch as well — super nice and always working.  Spacious, comfortable boat as well.  I heartily recommend Captain Carl and the... Had a great time on my 3rd charter with Fish Witch. Captain Shane and Parker worked non-stop to keep our lines clear of grass giving us more chances to hook up.  We ended up catching some great fish and some new species for a few members of the group.  We will to continue to use Fish Witch and recommend them for your next trip. Ocean was very smooth this day and had one of the smoothest rides on any charter. Would’ve liked to catch more of the fish that were biting, but we still came home with fish. Had a lot of bites, but they just didn’t want to take the hook..  which is the nature of this game.  We brought in a total of 7 fish; 2 nice Wahoo, 2 nice Almaco Jacks, 2 blackfin tuna, and a Bonita. We highly recommend this boat and crew (Shane and Coby). Couldn’t have asked for much better.

We did a half day bottom fishing trip and then pivoted into some shark fishing at the very end of the trip.  Shane and his crew were super nice and helpful.  We didn’t really catch anything to write home about, just a bunch of smaller fish.  We did catch a lot of fish, just nothing significant.  The seas were pretty rough this day and a couple of folks got sea sick, but that’s just the way it goes sometimes.  Overall the kids had fun and we did catch fish, so I’d say it was a success.
