Captain was nice, weather was poor and the trip should have been postponed. For the size of our group, he really should have had a second crew member to stay on top of bait and gear and make the most of our time, particularly since the trip was cut short by weather.
Melissa I appreciate the review. Unfortunately all I can do is read weather reports the day before and morning of departing to make a decision. They were calling for calm seas and slight chance of rain. As a captain I have to use every weather report available to make a proper decision for safety and overall fishing comfort. Sometimes the weather man is wrong, and I brought us back early to prevent anything serious from happening while offshore to either clients, boat, or crew. We did fish for 4 hours in rough seas and caught trigger and snapper. I gave a discounted rate due to weather.

Group of 4 and only caught 7 fish. 4 of them small catfish. Just couldnโt seem to find fish today and spent a good amount of time trying to catch bait fish before we could start fishing. Not a good experience for us.
I apologize you had an unpleasant experience. We do our best to put our clients on desirable fish and provide a memorable experience. I will share this review with Captain and discuss how we can improve moving forward.

Iโm sorry you guys didnโt enjoy your trip. Majority of our fish in our bay are on structure. I wish we had mangroves, oyster beds, etc but we donโt. Our bay can be extremely challenging at times and I took you guys to spots I had decent luck recently with trout, reds, black drum.
