Beautifull morning fishtrip with outstanding guide!

This morning at 05.30am I went on a magnificent 3.5h fish trolling trip with the experienced guide Made. He picked me up at my Hotel and made sure everything was ready (including water/snacks)

The boat is comfortable for 2 and really gives the authentic fishing experience. The sunrise alone is worth the whole trip! The scenery is out of this world!

Nonetheless we had 5 strikes of which 2 were caught (GT and Baracuda). I have had zero fishing experience (this was genuinly the first time) but Made guided me through and helped me catch these fish!

After, we drove to his house and filleted the fish after which we shared the spoils. A local restaurant then cooked the fish for me and my GF.

All-in a great morning/day. Highly recommend this as a bucketlist activity during your holiday!

Tip: make sure to bring some anti sea sickness tablets, as the sea can get rough. I managed to pull through though.

I was travelling with my partner and wanted to book an easy fishing experience. Manu came and picked me up from the beach nearest to my villa in the morning and we set out to troll for some mac tuna and whatever else would take a lure.

All together we landed 6 fish, and lost one of good size. It was mad fun fighting a nice fish in the local boat manu has.

I took the biggest of the bunch to a local warung and they prepared an awesome dinner for me and my girlfriend.

All in all, an awesome experience for any angler from beginner to experienced and easy on the wallet compared to the big game charters on offer.

I would highly recommend this to anyone !

Me and my partner had a great time on this fishing trip. We caught a wide variety of fish and our guide, Manu, was very knowledgeable about the best spots to catch fish. After we finished fishing we went to snorkel a bit at a popular snorkel spot and it was a great experience as well. Certain times of the year you can find turtles and manta rays in those areas.

When we got back to land, Manu’s cousin cooked the fish that we caught. This was delicious.

Travelling to and from the island seemed daunting when we were living in Bali, but it was made extremely easy by Manu’s driver. The driver was extremely helpful and very friendly.

Overall this was a great experience I would recommend to anyone wanting to go fishing in Indonesia.

Worth getting out of bed for :) !! Started in darkness and greeted by the most beautiful sunrise . Shortly after stopped as a pod of dolphins swam around the boat. Fishing is always unpredictable and thought it wasn’t going to be our day as a couple hours passed and not a bite. However I enjoyed the boat trip and being on the water. Manu was amazing he did everything he could trying different spots and changing the lure. As we neared the end he kindly offered to take us to manta bay snorkelling as he had no afternoon booking and his brother had called him telling him there was a manta . A truly incredible experience to swim with 3 massive manta rays . Was buzzing and had forgotten all about the fish. On the the way back we put the lines back out and only a few hundred metres from the beach nearing the end of this already amazing trip we caught a massive dogtooth tuna. What a day ! Manu recommend his friends restaurant with a great view for us to get some of it cooked . Perfect day out cannot recommend enough and Manu is so kind and helpful
