We had an absolutely amazing 4-hour fishing trip this morning! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and so much fun. The captain was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. We spent over 90 minutes fighting and catching a shark, which was such an incredible experience! Even though we didn’t catch a lot of fish, the trip was still so much fun and definitely worth it. The boat was clean and well-kept, and the whole outing felt relaxed yet exciting. Whether you’re new to fishing or experienced, this trip is perfect. Highly recommend— we’ll definitely be booking again!

We booked a 4 hour trip and caught a huge Red Snapper and lots of Mangrove Snapper. We started out trolling for Kings. We had a few strikes but Capt. Josh realized that bite was slow and moved us on to more productive waters. From there the catching begin and he continued to explore more territory to keep the fish coming in the boat. Our daughter, Ava said, “Josh is the best captain, he shows us where all of the fish is!” We had a great time! We highly recommend Capt. Josh and Just Reel fishing charter! We are looking forward to booking our next trip with Capt. Josh…it will be a 6 hour trip too!!

This trip was the best!  Catching fish or the hope of it,  is of course why people go fishing, and we caught all the fish we wanted.  But more than that, we enjoyed Josh, and we enjoyed our time as a family.  Josh is very personable and very passionate about what he does.  It’s clear that Josh knows the waters and knows fishing.  As soon as the bite slowed down, we were off to the next spot.  Both of our boys (6 and 11) were able to reel in bait fish as well as be assisted in reeling in healthy-sized red snappers.  When we arrived back at the marina, other captains marveled at our catch.  Josh cleaned and filleted the fish and directed us to a local restaurant that would cook up our fish for us.  We thoroughly enjoyed that experience.  Excellence is doing what you can, with what you have, where you are, and Josh delivers that!  Book Josh, and you’ll gain unforgettable memories, as well as a friend.

Captain Josh was awesome and we had a great time.  Even though we cut it a little short because of the kids, we still caught fish and the kids had fun.  Captain Josh made sure to move us around so we could keep catching and was super knowledgeable about the area, the fish we caught, and where to go to find them.  Would definitely recommend Captain Josh and Just Reel to anyone and will look to fish with him again!

Great day with plenty of action bottom fishing. Kids had a blast. Brought home some mingo snapper to eat. Second trip with Capt Josh, looking forward to another trip in the future. Thanks again!
