First, I’ll say that I’d definitely recommend this charter for anyone who wants to have s solid fishing experience.

First, I’ll say that the “meter’s running” when you’re fishing.  The trip out and the trip in were not part of the charter time.  This is great…not something I’ve seen before.  Both the captain (Ken) and the mate (Jamie) were knowledgeable and friendly, and put us on fish pretty quick.  The first couple of hits were of the “hit and run” variety, so no fish in boat… Can’t blame the crew for fish being uncommitted.

We each boated solid Chinooks, nothing to hit the tourney leader board, but very satisfying to us.  We enjoyed great conversation, good fishing, and learned valuable information about fishing on Lake Ontario.

I’ve fished on many charters from 2005 to present, often several per year, but I would be hard pressed to name a charter I’ve enjoyed more. 

Ken and Jamie:  the trip was awesome, and I speak for all of us when I say we’ll look forward to more trips with SunMoon LLC.

Captain Ken and his helpful deck mate were both cheerful to be with, highly motivated to insure our enjoyment and success, reasonable with their fees, and extremely knowledgeable about how to find and catch fish. What was special was the way they personalized their services to each of us four individuals, male and female, with age ranges from 10 to 81, novice and experienced, making each person feel valued and important whether they landed a given fish or not. They also cleaned the five large salmon we landed, while coming back to the dock, which resulted in forty five to fifty pounds of fresh meat ready to be smoked. They have my highest recommendation. Huge thank you to Ken for a great day on the water celebrating my dad’s birthday.  4 nice size Salmon! 27lbs of fillets can wait to eat!.  Ken knows his stuff and is personable.  Would definitely book again.  And the amazing sunset to cap off the adventure.  Perfect day

Had a great time. Ken knew what he was talking about and was a great guy to sit and talk to. Fishing was great. Slow but great but its all about the day and when the fish bite. Nothing any captain can do about it. However he made it a real great time. Highly recommend him!
