I booked Sunmoon in August and the only thing that kept them from getting a full 5 star rating was the fact that we only caught two fish.  I still had a great time and they were more than accommodating. These guys go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.  I kept in touch with Captain Ken and I went out with him and his mate Jamie and we had a great time.  We got on the fish and kept going back for more.  They would get more then a 5 star rating from me if I could.  Great couple of guys they really do love what they do and want their customers to have a lifetime experience.  I definitely got one and will refer them in an instant.

Fishing was poor this day. Only one bite in four hours. Captain worked hard but fish wouldn’t cooperate. Other boats had a similar experience.  We did land a 10 pound brown trout. It just wasn’t our day.  Considering that our drive was 500 miles round trip, we were a bit disappointed.

Four of us who’ve never been on a charter before booked this in late winter, and were excited for the opportunity. We talked about all the fish we were going to catch, and how we’d cook them! Unfortunately, the fish had other ideas. We got one small King Salmon amongst the four of us. There was a second very small king, which was thrown back. We just couldn’t get on the fish. We did get a double strike at one point towards the very end, but they both quickly got off. Captain Kenneth and his mate, Kevin, did everything they could to put us on fish, even stayed out an extra hour beyond our charter time, but in the end we called it a day. The weather was beautiful and we at least had a gorgeous sunset boat ride back to the dock.
