I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain John.  Not only was he knowledgeable of the area, but he was also very friendly as well.  The first mate, Hunter, was extremely helpful as our group of four had all different levels of fishing experience.  Both Hunter and Captain John entertained us with charming and heartwarming stories of Dolphins and other sea creatures.  But we didn’t come to hear stories, we came to fish, and this is where Captain John delivered!  We went out right after a hurricane cleared the area and upset the fishing.  We could hear other boats on the radio complaining about the lousy fishing that day.  But Captain John came through by checking multiple spots with the fish finder until he found enough fish to be worth the stop.  The quote of the day was “I’d rather burn my gas than waste your time.”  At the end of the day, we had 39 keepers consisting of Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and Flounder.  And those were just the keepers!  So if you are in Ocean City, see Captain John about catching some fish!

Had a great trip. My son caught a 7 ft. sand tiger and daughter caught an eagle ray. We will never forget it!

Excellent captain and mate. Experienced in there craft and extremely enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone.

Fishing wasn’t great but crew was fun, we had a great time and caught a couple of big rays. Would definitely book again.
