We had great communication leading up to the trip. We were greeted at the beach and boarded our boat. We had great weather, and we caught fish. The captain and first mate made the trip very memorable.

We had a great time on the 9 hr big marlin fishing trip today. Caught a lot of mahi mahi and had a blast even in rough seas. The only downfall was that there were not snacks and lunch was a build your own sandwich w options of bun, tomatoes, mayo and turkey. No snacks were provided as promised. Toilet required user to bag their own poo and we were never offered to have our fish fileted to take home. 3/4 day charter. Forecast was 5-6 footers. But we’re much bigger. More like 10-12 when we finally got out there. Guys made the trip as comfortable as possible. We did hook up with a group of mahi mahi and one of us hooked a wahoo. Great day of fishing. Followed by us goi g to shore and having one of the fish prepared at mama Juana’s on the beach. Freshest lunch I have ever had. Great day. Great group of guys. Highly recommend and we will be booking with Fortuna again next time down for sure.

Crew and captain were very friendly.  Water was rough so it made it difficult.  Even with the rough conditions they still put us on fish.  I would definitely use them again.

Had a great day with the captain and first mate.  Good transportation to and from the hotel to the marina.  Crew was super helpful and ensuring we had lines in the water, focusing on both the fish and what we needed.  Late in the day we ran into seaweed and spent a bit of time keeping lines clear - that’s fishing….  We caught 5 dorado and 1 barracuda.  A bill fish was there we just could not get the hookup.  Good communication skills all around.  Well worth it., Thanks gentleman.
