Our original booking in Astoria was cancelled due to state fishing regulations a few days in advance, but Wade was very helpful and communicative as to where we could re-book in Hood River. He went out of his way to make sure we had a full day on the water. Wade knows where the fish are and made several adjustments during the day to make sure we caught our limit. We will book with Wade again. He was patient with us as he had to teach us everything from the ground up. Good memories were made on this trip. Wade answered all of our questions throughout the day and had great conversations when the fish weren’t biting.

Five of us, including two kids took the 8 hour buoy 10 trip with Captain Wade Grant. What we got was 5 hours of continuous action including a triple hook up. Wade made a great prediction about where the fish were going to be, and put us on them. We eventually got a couple of hour lull as the tide.finished its run out, but we finished with four more hookups in the last hour as the tide turned at buoy 10. All in all, we hooked more than 25 fish, landed about a dozen, and took home five nice hatchery chinook ranging from 12 to 22 lbs. Our day was exciting and was a positive experience for our entire crew. Thanks Captain Wade.

Tom Clark is the best guide I’ve had the experience to fish with. Very accommodating, knows what is needed for the conditions and easy going…not impatient like some others. I will definitely use Tom in the future.

Went out fishing with Captain Wade for salmon. There were 3 groups of 2 people. We all hit our limit of 2 each, as a group we caught and kept 5 Chinook and 7 Coho. Plus had several native salmon we had to return to the water. When we finished he cleaned and fileted our fish so they were ready to take home.
Helpful tip: Use the restroom before you board the boat.

Started out slow as the conditions were not ideal. However Capt Wade put us on the fish. When other boats returned with 1 - 2 fish we nearly limited out with 8. We were shy by 2 fish. Capt Wade was tenacious at locating and boating the fish. Highly recommend this experienced captain. If you want to catch fish, get on board with Capt Wade!
