We took this trip as a family to celebrate Father’s Day.  Captain Dunn and his first mate Matthew were first rate as far as knowing where to catch fish, and also helping the experienced and extremely inexperienced anglers.  From the moment of booking to the moment of finishing the day fishing, it was great.  Communication was prompt and courteous.  We took a half day trip and fished off the coast for spanish mackerel.  Looking forward to another opportunity in the future and would not hesitate to book with the “Dunn Deal” again.

Our boys had an amazing trip thanks to Captain Shaun and First Mate Matthew. The kids caught 20 Spanish Mackerel for fish tacos and were pretty proud of themselves. Shaun was very knowledgeable and knew the perfect spots to go to. Matthew was very patient with our kids even when we thought they might toss him overboard trying to get to the rods. All 3 boys slept the whole way back to the marina and loved the ac, so you know it was a good day! We can’t wait for our next trip!

We had a great time with Captain Shaun and Captain Tim! We were told that it was a very slow time of the year right now and several boats were out not catching anything and if we still wanted to go… We were actually in the Outer Banks to go fishing so we said, that’s what we are here for…Really Appreciate the Honesty! The fishing grounds were about two hours away as it started off slow, but they put us on some fish. My wife and I reeled in two Black Fin Tunas 12-15 pounds at almost the same time. Our Third Hit was a nice Wahoo!!! 58’ -50 Pounds which classifies as a Citation which is an Award for an Exceptional Fish from the State of North Carolina….We finished the day with my wife reeling in a Barracuda…. Everything was nice, boat was clean and accommodating! We had an awesome day and took home 38 pounds of meat in which we had processed at the marina…I would definitely recommend this charter to anyone…These guys know what they are doing…We plan to go back in June to fish for several days!!! We had an amazing day with Captain Shaun and First Mate Grant. They were up and punctual for our run. Ride was smooth and did not get sea sick. Caught mostly Mahi and one King Mackerel. They are both experts and very knowledgeable. Taught us many things and we’re able to answer every question we had about salt water fishing. We have only fished fresh water as we are from Wisconsin. They were both very easy to get along with. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have an experience of a lifetime!! Reasonable price also. Overall we are speechless and are so grateful for the experience.

Went with my daughter and mother and the crew in the Dunn Deal were fantastic.  Daughter didn’t want to keep all the fish and did some selective catch and release but all in all bet we caught 20 fish. I would recommend using these folks to anyone.
