Fantastic fishing trip.
Started the day with Captain Alex picking us up at our resort. Mostly bottom fishing with some trauling. I get sea sick so Captain Alex tailored the fishing to reduce the chance of illness & we were lucky with the weather as well so felt fine the whole trip.
Several species of fish caught including barracuda, tuna, strawberry grouper, trigger & squirrel fish. Alex is very knowledgeable about the fish and eco system as well as the history of Dominican Republic. Alex was very helpful, without taking over, allowing you to get on with fishing for the maximum time and always looking for the best fishing spots. We also saw a large turtle and amazing flying fish.
The boat is very comfortable and well equipped. There were two of us fishing with lots of space.
We would definitely go fishing with Alex again

Was the last-minute trip planned the night before Alex was very Nice and accepted our trip and Boy was he ready to go. My friend am I self for experience fisherman but this was one fun trip. Back to the basics. We had beautiful weather. Great fishing. We did a little trolling on the way out then we decided to bottom fish on most of the trip. He is fully flexible on what you wanna do he has snorkeling equipment on board. Really offers a great experience.

Alex was very knowledgeable and welcoming, was it very smooth and comfortable trip. regardless of your experience this will be the trip you will wanna go on.

The boat/equipment are well-maintained and are up-to-date. He has a colder for water that he provided.

I would 100% recommend. Unfortunately we found him later in our trip or we would’ve went out every day with him!

Captain Alex was wonderful throughout the whole trip. He casted some lines out while we headed to out to the ocean and we caught a big barracuda! Once we got to where we needed I started to feel a bit sea sick. My bf was totally okay. But Alex gave me some tips to try and ease my seasickness. He did offer as a plan B to go to a sandbar and swim but I stick it through instead. I ended up catching a small grouper and Alex a bigger one which he generously gave it to us! He filleted our groupers and sent us home happy and safe. Hopefully next time some anti-nausea pills will help me. Either way we still enjoyed our time.

Dmitri was one of the best captains I have had on any excursion.  Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend him to anyone needing a charter. He arranged transportation and made the experience well worth it. I’ve been on 10 fishing excursions and he has been the best.

My girlfriend and I did a 4 hour charter with Alex and it was amazing. We’re both extreme novices in fishing and Alex was extremely patient with us. We ended up catching 8 fish and 4 different species, all of which were absolutely breathtaking.

Couldn’t recommend Alex more!
