Dimitry is experienced and the equipment was in good condition. We chose to stay close and bottom fish. Caught several species but nothing of size. He speaks very little English but uses a translate app. The boat was a center console in good shape but the wives were not too impressed there was no bathroom. Overall a good trip with lots of fish caught.

We caught 3 trigger fish, 2 strawberry grouper, 1 squirrel fish and about 15 sand tile fish…we had fun though it was a bit windy/wavy !

Well four guys four hours and only four fish is not great fishing (we did lose around 5 more fish including two Barracuda) but Alex puts in 100% effort (I don’t believe in saying 110%) to make sure you can get as many fish in the boat in an ethical manner. Not only is a fishing trip about catching but also about enjoying yourselves as well and Alex makes sure that you get a history lesson of the island and as well a lot of laughs. We also saw numerous flying fish and a pod of five Humpback Whales that he stayed a respectable distance from so as not to disturb them but we were able to appreciate their majestic beauty.
When I read the reviews prior to booking I was sceptical about all the high rankings and no low ones, I know now why the scores were higher as he does his best to make you feel welcome, appreciated and respected. Keep up the stellar work!
