We booked our annual anniversary trip with a new guide for us.  How Happy we were to meet Travis!!!!!  He had a huge challenge to find fish as a front had moved in and recent rains made for very high tides.  Our morning trip began with a short ride where he put us on nice reds—although only one keeper.  He quickly moved us to another location—3 keepers with lots of other action.  Another short ride and we limited our reds and added black drum.  Travis managed the busy activity with amazing ease—-helping with baits, casting, fixing tangled lines, and netting.  He was very informative as to why and where we were casting.  Great attitude and so eager, even when we couldn’t set the hook. Back to the dock, where he took pictures, cleaned and bagged our catch.  Travis is the best Guide that we have used in the Rockport/Aransas area. He’s a 10+ and will definitely use him again and again.

Captain Travis took all 5 of us novice women, 3 adults and 2 teens out to some amazing locations. He was very patient with us and we never felt intimidated. We had the best time and caught the best fish. We will definitely book him again and we made memories of a lifetime.

Trip was booked for July 22, we had an excellent time.  I had a party of 8 so Travis helped to book another great guide Smiley’s Guide Service.  They worked hard to put us on the fish.  Caught Red, Black, trout, and flounder.  Great time had by all.  I was most impressed with Travis as he works really hard to make sure the guest have a great time and enjoy their trip.  Very hard worker, and very friendly.  Book him!

Captain Travis Garrett communicated well with us in advance of our trip. He got us to a few good fishing spots. All onboard caught fish and had a great time! We were even able to get a close-up look at Whooping Cranes before they head back to Canada!
