Our 2 hour trip with Captain Kat on Sunday morning far exceeded all expectations. My buddy is an experienced angler, but I was a true novice and we both landed many different species of fish with Kat’s help. She quickly found the fish and handled all the hard work while we focused on catching fish. At the end of the trip, she cleaned the fish and let us know which nearby restaurants we could take them to for lunch. Highly recommend this trip.

Jason was great!  We had an 11 year old and 5 year old fishing, along with me and my mother.  Jason was patient with the 5 year old who would constantly reel in his bait.  My 11 year old caught 3 fish and my mom had an unusual catch with crab.  LOL.  He helped me realize the difference between fishing with my dad and the techniques we used growing up and how to properly fish in the bay.  Overall, I would recommend him and schedule with him in the future.

Captain Jason and Captain Kat made our fishing experience the best day of our lives. They were so attentive, accommodating and so knowledgeable! We will definitely be booking with them in the future. We caught so many different species of fish! Close to 6-10! Even got the opportunity to see a 6 foot shark who took our bait. Saw a sea turtle and ended our adventure with a beautiful sunset. We wouldn’t have changed a thing to improve the trip. It was perfect.

Jason was very informative with where to meet and what to expect with parking. He was on time and ready with gear and bait. Jason asked and listened to what we wanted so he could prioritize fishing spots! I would recommend a 4 hour trip. It took about 30 min to drive to a good spot and we got a good hour in. We fished for a good hour and caught 10 fish. When we returned to the dock, we took a bathroom break and by the time we were done, Jason was already halfway through cleaning our fish. He even provided a ziploc bag and ice for us when we departed. Jason recommended some lunch spots and he was 100% spot on with his recommendation. We loved it and will be booking with him again.

Three of us from Minnesota finally took the chance to spend a few hours fishing the ocean for salt water fish. I’ve never been out that far or long on the water but Jason made me feel so safe and comfortable. From the beginning he asked what we were looking to catch, and what kind of trip we wanted. He told us after he baited our hooks that we shouldn’t be waiting more than a minute for a bite, and he was right. We started catching some pretty awesome fish. And after taking each of them off the hook, he would tell us about the fish. We caught grunt fish, Spanish Mackerel, grouper, mangrove snapper, seabass, spot tail….it was absolutely awesome. Then he fileted all of the fish we could keep, and recommended the best place to have them cook them up. We had a blast, so cool. Such an experience, and would send everyone his way. We will definitely go back out with him the next time we are back down here.
