Captain Dave had us on the fish right away.  My son and I both caught something within the few minutes on the water.  Captain Dave knew exactly where to go, and what tackle to use.  We made 3 stops and caught 50+ fish and 7 different species of all shapes and sizes He gave us options on what we wanted to do/catch, and he knocked it out of the park each time.  He was more than patient with us city boys.  Thanks again Captain Dave!!

I’ve done a lot of offshore fishing all over the country but my GF hasn’t really done any. She wanted to come and I figured some bay/inshore fishing would be the best starter trip.  She had a blast and caught a bunch of fish. Because of the restrictions with keeping the trout and redfish we had to let them go.  After catching a bunch of stuff and trout in the last 3 hours we saw a cool sandbar and had him take us over there and she got to shell (which she loves) and it felt like I was back in the Caribbean. Great trip.  Very nice guy . Boat tip top shape.  Helpful with beginners like her.  She had fun and bragged later she caught more.

I scheduled a short two day trip to visit my grandson in Naples, Fl and told him that I would love to go fishing in the gulf. He said he’d have to buy more gear and we’d have to get licenses etc. I thought that would be too much trouble and expense for him and started looking for a fishing charter where everything would be handled for us. I found Captain Dave with Island Time Adventures at a reasonable rate.
Captain Dave was very friendly and took us to various locations to fish. He baited my line and showed my grandson different lures to try. We each caught a variety of fish and had a good time. The four hours went by fast.
This grandma can now check off gulf fishing from my bucket list!

Captain Dave was absolutely fantastic. Being a Florida native, we chose his boat to get away for a few hours while visiting the west coast. He communicated well and arrived promptly to pick us up from our hotel dock which saved us about 45 minutes of drive time to where he would normally depart from.

My son is 6 years old and has never been fishing before. Captain Dave was extremely patient and accommodating to his little squeals and laughter as we slayed the fish. That’s right ... completely slayed them! My kid caught a total of 14 fish on our 4-hour adventure - all as a result of Captain Dave’s expert casting and knowing where the best spots were.

I’m so happy to have created this lifelong memory together with my son. I can’t wait to come back and go fishing again with Captain Dave.

My brother and I spent the day with Captain Dave in the back bay behind Ft. Myers Beach and had a great time. He knew all the spots and in a number of places put us right on top of Red Fish, Trout, Sheep’s Head, and we even caught a couple Snook. If we weren’t having luck in one place (which rarely happened) he would shoot over to a new spot and kept things exciting.

He taught us different techniques or casting and presenting bait and was very knowledgeable about how best to go after fish. He had drinks and water on board - overall it was a great day. We’d been out with other guides before in the area and Captain Dave was by far the best of them all.
