What an amazing experience with Captain Andres and first mate Danny. I can’t recommend this trip enough, from the boat to the team’s knowledge to their excitement in being out on the water. It’s probably the best fishing experience I’ve ever had. I learned so much about how to locate fish, why they might be active in certain areas at certain times, and how to use various indicators out at sea to maximize my chances.

I took my dad on a seven-hour trip and told Captain I’d like to try a few different fishing techniques to target various species. We combined trolling, kite fishing, and bottom fishing to catch the following:

- sailfish
- blackfin tuna
- amberjack
- king mackerel
- reef shark

Captain did everything possible to put us on the fish. We trolled four lines, put up two kites, used various prized live baits (purchased some and caught some on our own), and even stayed long when I hooked into a monster amberjack just before we were about to head back. Danny had a hunch to drop a pinfish to the bottom, and what ensued was an epic battle with the strongest fish I’ve ever felt. I’m writing this on Monday and still sore from catching this fish on Friday.

When we finally landed this monster after a 50+ minute battle (watch the video), you can feel the excitement of everyone onboard. The crew genuinely wanted to land this fish; even though we were over the allotted time, they were telling me it was a game of inches and to remain patient. I’ve been on other trips and you can tell who really wants to be there and who is just taking their boat out for you. These guys love to fish and that love is contagious.

Once returning to the marina, Danny prepared our fish and gave me some recipes (including how to prepare tuna tataki, which was incredible). He also immediately sent me the photos and videos he had taken that day.

If you have the opportunity to get out on the water with Captain, I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll be bringing other friends and family in the near future.

A++++ trip

Capt Andy and his mates of Albert and Alex and myself ( Allan) made a day of A plus.  We trolled and hit the fire drill of mahi and a nice wahoo.  Everyone knew what to do. Go to their Instagram to watch the video. 
Then it got quiet till we found a FAD.  Look it up. Mahi mahi.  Unfortunately no Sailfish but Capt Andy doesn’t give up.  Stop looking   Book them.  Found my new charter in Florida.

We had a great day with Andres and his Crew. They were very friendly, helpful, had a good team spirit, nice atmosphere and they did everything so that we can catch fish (what we did)! For me especially interesting was, that they explained a lot of the things they did and showed me how to prepare the bait, how deep they troll etc. Would book again anytime!

I’ll be bringing friends and family back to Miami to fish with captain And- we have a new friend.. This was our 10th fishing trip in MIA-FLL. They have the best equipment, clean boat, and friendly good times. You will enjoy the day.. He knows the waters and current , and some history. Bring your kids- my son thinks he is the nicest captain we have fished with!
