We had a great time, weather was touch and go in the morning but the captain still put us on the fish and kept everyone safe. Would highly recommend fishing with Captain Clint and his mate Ben it was truly a great day! Thank you for the great trip!

We booked a ten hour trip because we have been on theee other 8 hr trips in Florida and we went out 18 miles out each time and caught a lot of fish but it seemed like the time went too fast so we splurged and decided on a 10 hr. Also we were taking our 13 yr old daughter with us for the first time so we were super excited for her to catch some fish! Two nights before our trip, Clint called us and said he’d been itching to go catch some tuna and we could leave earlier and do that if the weather was right and still do other fishing too. So we said ok. The next night he called and said the weather wasn’t going to be good for tuna but we could go out 60 miles or so and try for swordfish and still fish for snapper and grouper, etc. too. So we arrived at 4:30am and went out 70 miles. They thought one was on and through up there hands up and complained for quite some time on the way back in that my husband tripped the line with his hand. When they pulled the eel in it hadn’t been touched so not sure there was anything in it. Then the bout was down on the other one and nothing was one that either. We headed back the 70 some miles and at 2pm we finally stopped and fished for 8 red snapper and also got two Benita’s. We were stopped for about 15 minutes to enjoy our extended trip and our daughters first time deep sea fishing. They did not allow us to take any pictures when we caught the fish. My husband caught a trigger fish and Clint cut the line immediately before any of us were even able to see it. My daughter caught a big fish and he cut the line on that before she was able to show anyone. Atleast now Clint knows that he can make it out to go sword fishing in ten hours. We are not trophy hunters for fish, we simply wanted to that our children out catch a lot of fish and hoped to bring a cooler home to share with family. Clint talked to his first mate the entire time and was not personable with us. Except to ask my husband and son what they did for a living. The first mate, Chris was a nice and personable young man and gave us some tips on local places to visit. I would say if a family wants to go sword fishing or fishing for tuna,  let them tell you, otherwise just take them out to catch a butt load of fish and have some family excitement of reeling lots of different fish in. Pretty disappointing day for us.

It was a great day and we had lots of fun, we were exhausted at the end of the day. 👍

Great captain had to cancel due to weather but would book again. I would highly recommend
