We had a very good trip with my two sons on spring break from college, my wife, a friend of mine, and me.  The boat was very clean and had a cabin with a sink and a bathroom which was very important to my wife.  The captain called us the day before and asked if we could change the time of the trip due to changing weather forecast and we appreciated that he was looking out for our safety. 
The trip itself was great.  The deck hand did a very good job tending all 5 of us while we fished and the captain was very personable and friendly while still being able to keep charge of the boat.  We plan to use this charter again, hopefully for an overnight trip I’m the future.  We collected business cards from the captain to hand out to our friends and we highly recommend this charter.

We booked a ten hour trip because we have been on theee other 8 hr trips in Florida and we went out 18 miles out each time and caught a lot of fish but it seemed like the time went too fast so we splurged and decided on a 10 hr. Also we were taking our 13 yr old daughter with us for the first time so we were super excited for her to catch some fish! Two nights before our trip, Clint called us and said he’d been itching to go catch some tuna and we could leave earlier and do that if the weather was right and still do other fishing too. So we said ok. The next night he called and said the weather wasn’t going to be good for tuna but we could go out 60 miles or so and try for swordfish and still fish for snapper and grouper, etc. too. So we arrived at 4:30am and went out 70 miles. They thought one was on and through up there hands up and complained for quite some time on the way back in that my husband tripped the line with his hand. When they pulled the eel in it hadn’t been touched so not sure there was anything in it. Then the bout was down on the other one and nothing was one that either. We headed back the 70 some miles and at 2pm we finally stopped and fished for 8 red snapper and also got two Benita’s. We were stopped for about 15 minutes to enjoy our extended trip and our daughters first time deep sea fishing. They did not allow us to take any pictures when we caught the fish. My husband caught a trigger fish and Clint cut the line immediately before any of us were even able to see it. My daughter caught a big fish and he cut the line on that before she was able to show anyone. Atleast now Clint knows that he can make it out to go sword fishing in ten hours. We are not trophy hunters for fish, we simply wanted to that our children out catch a lot of fish and hoped to bring a cooler home to share with family. Clint talked to his first mate the entire time and was not personable with us. Except to ask my husband and son what they did for a living. The first mate, Chris was a nice and personable young man and gave us some tips on local places to visit. I would say if a family wants to go sword fishing or fishing for tuna,  let them tell you, otherwise just take them out to catch a butt load of fish and have some family excitement of reeling lots of different fish in. Pretty disappointing day for us.

Hands down one of the best charters we’ve been on in a while. Capt really wanted and tried hard to put us on pelagic species but they just weren’t biting. We turned a 6hr trip into an 8hr trip. Capt and first mate was awesome. Definitely will book again in the near future. Capt was able to put us on some red snapper on our way back in. Beautiful weather despite being hot. Calm seas. Tuna flashing everywhere but just weren’t biting. That’s why they call it fishing and not catching. Awesome time

Captain did a great job putting us on fish. He is professional and enjoyable to be around. I would not for a second hesitate to recommend him or book again with him. He did a great job and the fish read the script we got several species in the boat and went home with plenty to eat but most importantly we had a great time. My daughter’s both caught doubles multiple times as well as myself and my wife. The daughters boyfriend even caught fish and he likes to bass fish 😝 but we had a great experience.

We had a great time fishing on Saturday.  Our Captain, Clint, and his deckhand, Andrew, was very knowledgeable.  They were very willing helping us catch fish and learn the ropes.  The guys even joked around with the boys as they are always competing as to who was catching the most and the biggest. The boat was super clean.  If you ever need to find a charter, hands down use Deep Mystique.  These guys go out of there way to help you find the fish.  Thanks again guy for the great morning!
