It was ok.ย Didnโt catch much and we spent a lot of time in same spot mostly catching seaweed.
The web listing inferred there would be four species of larger fish that were being caught at this time of year: sailfish, Spanish mackerel, Mutton Snapper, etc. all we did was bottom fish with light spinning tackle and never even went out close to the reef. At the end of the charter, I slipped getting off the boat and hit my shin and cut it open with blood running. The captain should have offered me a first kit, but instead did nothing. I had to just hose it down until I later went to a pharmacy.
Charles, I do apologize for any misunderstanding and as always I contact every customer before the charter so if there was any issues you could have easily reached out. I am sorry you slipped getting off of the boat. It is our policy that we help everyone on and off the boat unless they refuse help which is what you chose to do. When you scraped your knee and Captain David asked if you were ok you stated that it was fine. As far as the confusion with what we were fishing for you did book a light tackle boat that states we fish for snapper, grouper, jacks, sharks and barracuda. We did have communion multiple times before the trip and there was never a mention of sailfish. Once again I am sorry for misunderstanding but it did look like you caught a lot of good eating fish and had plenty to pull on.
