The boat was in terrible shape and clearly not cared for. There was no ice on board and only a few frozen strip baits and a handful of pilchards. Caught zero targeted fish and only a few very small snapper at the end as a consolation. After confirming the charter I was told the boat on the website wasn’t working and the departure location was 30min further away and then the day before the charter we were told we had to pay more to target the fish we wanted. Chris & Eric were nice guys but the overall charter operation is a joke.

Very disappointing experience. Regular Capt. didn’t show. Younger Capt. was 30 mins late (did not provide requested ETA via message, old boat- not like ad picture, not enough Tackle so all could fish, seating for 2 but there was 4 of us, onboard toilet was poor and dirty and my wife was very displeased since we made sure to have a toilet for her when we booked the trip - do I need to say more?
I will say the assigned Capt. was decent in his skills but constantly blared the radio even after we asked him not to.
Save your money and book with some else!

4 hours early start. One bite….ouch. Win some, lose some.

Didn’t catch any of the targeted fish so the captain put us on a few tiny fish so that we would atleast catch something. The ocean conditions were terrible that day and before the trip the receptionist called me and told me the weather would be better in the morning so I should move my trip up to the early morning instead. So I did and the truth was because they ended up booking another charter after mine. Which they wouldn’t have been able to do if I stuck to my original time. Not only that they tried to get me to upgrade my trip to an offshore trip instead of my original inshore trip knowing full well that the ocean was acting up that day. Another boat actually went out to the ocean that morning and was back in 30 minutes because the weather conditions were so bad. Also the captain doubled as the deckhand and was busy trying to control the boat most of the time so I had to constantly bait my own hook if I wanted to keep fishing. Then a line got broken off one of the poles and we had to wait for him to re-tie it while trying to control the boat at the same time. So my wife was sitting there not able to fish for almost 30 minutes. That’s why you have pre-tied rigs so when that happens you can quickly tie on a new one and get back to fishing because that’s what I’m paying for is to fish not to sit and wait on a boat. Then the captain fed the birds which attracted them to the boat so when we were supposed to be trolling a line back to shore one of the birds ended up eating the bait off the hook. So that was a missed fishing opportunity. Also because they ended up booking another charter directly after mine we had to rush back to shore so he could pick up the next suckers that booked with this company. Total time actually fishing was under 2 hours and I paid for 3. Other charters I’ve been on don’t count the time it takes to get to and from the fishing spot. They don’t start your time until your poles are in the water so they can maximize your fishing time and actually give you what you pay for. This company is about getting paid and moving on to the next sucker.
