Captain John knows what he’s doing we hit on some jacks first which put up a fun fight. We then were on the sea trout and bagged a couple good ones for dinner. The best was I had hooked into a 40”+ Cobia over 40lbs and had a good 20-30 minute battle with it and ended up landing it! Unfortunately it was raged by Florida fish and game so we reported the catch and released but it was a great time and will be coming back time and time again now!

Sometimes Winter brings “negative” low tides. Tack a hard winter wind on top of these already drastic tides, and you can see the water level a couple foot below average, depending on where you are in Florida. It takes a very experienced and Professional Captain to take a full day charter in those conditions and make it a truly unforgettable experience. Captain John Beach is a Master on the water and his equipment is top shelf. We had the best 8 hrs. of fishing one could imagine given the weather conditions. Can’t wait to go back again.  Looking forward to an April/May adventure for sure. Thanks A-Lure Fishing Charters and Captain John.  We had a blast fishing with you.

We Met Captain Beach at 8am and he said we were going out after some big mean fish! After stopping by his fish trap we were off … first we put a few Trout in the box for dinner then off to his honey hole!
His Ranger boat was clean and well equipped!
Within minutes of getting the line bated and in the water we were on! My wife followed Captain’s directions and boated the beauty Cobia (pictured)
We hooked up a couple more times with some big fish but after long pulls from me and the fish we parted ways!!! We Had good conversation and some laughs!
Can’t wait til the next visit and trip! We will be calling Captain Beach again for sure!

My husband, our son with three friends - went out on the boat.  Unfortunately, due to weather/wind, fishing was not going to be optimal.  Capt. John took time to call us the night before and let us know that we could cancel or reschedule without penalty.  We decided that the “experience” was more important for our son’s 13th bday celebration with his buddies.  They still caught fish but Capt. John made sure they had a great time, took them to a spring, etc.  Boat is nice, equipment excellent, Captain John personable, professional and funny.  My son and husband cannot stop talking about the trip with the added bonus from son saying “Captain John is cool” :)  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
