The captain and boat were great! However the lady that was taking the money is a scammer.  To book the boat you have to pay a deposit.  However when we arrived the lady said we didn’t pay a deposit.  Due to service issues I wasn’t able to pull it up right away.  She made us pay the whole amount to get on the boat and said she would be on the dock when we got back to figure it out.  When on the boat the captain sent her screenshot of the paid deposit to show we had paid it.  When we got back from the day of fishing, she was no where to be found.  We messaged her and she said she would get us paid back.  Our deposit was $245 USD.  She said she would pay us $194 and we responded with a screen shot of our deposit showing we paid $245.  She then got a driver to drop off our “deposit” which she only put in there $200 of the $245.  We reached back out and she said she would drop more money off and she did not.  For this trouble I would never book with this boat again which is sad because the crew was great. The ladies name is Janet and I would stay far away from her and whoever she works with.

We fished for the first 3 hours of our booking. We caught a large barracuda and some red snappers.  I booked it mainly for my teenage son who really wanted to fish, so he sat in the chair reeling in the catches. The crew were awesome in assisting and helped us since we were newbies. While my wife and teenage daughter sat on top enjoying the views and occasionally in the front laid out enjoying the sun.

The captain was very kind, gave us several options, locations depending on the fish we were seeking.

After fishing we went snorkeling and ended the trip swimming anchored next to a gorgeous beach. The crew prepared us delicious ceviche from one of the snappers we caught.

The trip was everything I hoped, the boat and crew were amazing. I definitely recommend this boat for everything.

The captain and crew were so kind and accommodating. They worked very hard to get everyone in our group on the fish. 6 hour trip is what we chose and the captain asked us what we would like to target. We did some trolling and some bottom fishing and everyone caught several fish. Barracuda, triggerfish, strawberry grouper, mutton snapper, and a few others. We had a great time. The boat was very nice and clean. 5 stars, highly recommended!!

I hope I got the crew’s names correct…. But either way we had an amazing time!

Scheduled a 6 hour morning fishing excursion a couple of months in advanced. The booking process was very easy and direct communication from a company representative happened fairly quickly. All of the arrival instructions were communicated directly through the FishingBooker messaging system and were extremely thorough. Follow ups and direct pricing/balance information was also communicated in advanced, and multiple times afterwards, including the day before the trip.

We decided to use a separate transportation service (versus theirs) to bring us to the marina meeting spot. The Chartier team also reached out to us 15 mins prior to scheduled arrival time to ensure we were in the way and ensured we knew where to arrive.

Check in process was quick, balance payment is required before boarding the boat. Please be aware that there is an additional $9 per person docking fee, which is not included in the fishingbooker rate. This gets paid at the time of service as well, with the remaining balance owed.

All of the Chartier Del Mar team members were extremely nice, and communication in English was not an issue. We arrived at 6:45 for our 7am departure and we were off the dock by 7:03! Timeliness is much appreciated!!!

We had 4 people with our group: two men , 1 female adult and an 8 year old kid! The crew was extremely accommodating, explained rules extensively and were very attentive throughout the whole trip! We caught tons of fish… including a HUGE 54 inch barracuda! The largest barracuda the crew had seen in quite some time! Everyone in our crew was able to reel and catch something!!! We brought a few extra of our own beverages and snacks and they had ice available for us to place our drinks into!

Crew was extremely accommodating and attentive to the kid we had with us… ensuring he was always involved in the action which is also much appreciated!

Amazing trip… definitely the highlight of our 7 day vacation in Playa Mujeres. Everyone had a blast and it will definitely be a memorable experience!!
