Captain Steve took me and my friend out May 8th 2024 and it was a blast. He put us on fish immediately. Within 20 minutes of leaving the boat ramp we had already caught multiple species of fish including redfish (red drum) which we were after. He knew the waters well and had multiple spots to take us to. Unlike other captains, he was invested in getting us on fish. When one spot dried he didn’t let us waste our time, and we moved on to better spots. In total, we caught over 30 fish including jacks, hard headed catfish, lady fish, whiting, sand sharks, and red fish. Trophy of the day was a 42” red fish.

We had a great time fishing with Capt. Steven! We booked a 4-hour saltwater fishing trip with him for my son who turned 7 years old the day of the trip. Communication was great, location and scenery was beautiful. My son has loved fishing since he was barely 3 years old. He likes to fish in our lake in Michigan and he could fish the entire day and be happy with or without a catch. The biggest fish he caught was a 27 inches Bowfin/Dogfish and we were hoping he could beat that record during this trip because I know that would make him so happy. Capt. Steven was kind, patient and great with my son. He saw how happy my son is catching even medium-sized fish so he told me that he can only imagine how excited my son will be if he catches a big one. 4 hours has passed and no big fish yet. He didn’t have to extend our trip, but he did. For almost 2 hours and no extra charge, I must add. He made it his goal to catch him a big fish and didn’t stop until he was successful. He got my son a 47.5 inches Redfish! A new record! My son was extremely happy. It was a birthday to remember for sure. And oh, I saw many dolphins which I enjoyed so much! I highly recommend Captain Steven.

Not sure where to start! Captin Steve was very accommodating. Told him how I would like to target different types of species around the area, and let me tell you what! He did not disappoint! Caught Reds, Black Drum, Lady Fish, and Jack.

Everything was ready to go at 6:30am, beautiful AM on the water, the bite was slow, but Capt. Steve went on the move as we continued to try to find the bait and the bite.  We eventually did and turned out to be a perfect getaway from the Orlando resorts and chaos.  Highly recommended.  My son and I will be back for more next time we are close to the coast.

Steven is one of the hardest working guides I have ever met. Not only did he get us on Red fish we got to experience multiple species and he works as hard to help clients catch fish as anyone I have met. Catching an over 40” red what a slaunch! This review doesn’t do justice for what our experience was! Absolutely unforgettable!
