Our half day trip with Capt. Hunter was amazing, our family felt very welcomed and taken cared for during the whole trip. The boat is spacious, comfortable and has great equipment. It was awesome to see live when you catch a fish on the sonar, great family experience. Hunter is extremely knowledgeable about the lake and the best spots to fish at. The captain even went the extra mile and fished live bait for us early in the morning before sunrise.

We had a great time and recommend Capt. Hunter for anyone looking for a fishing trip in Texas. We will definitely be booking again during our next visit to Austin.

FYI - the fish tacos came out amazing!

I had not fished since the 1990s, and my expectations were completely naive. I thought coming back with 2-3 fish would be a success; you can guess my surprise when we passed 30 halfway into the trip! Hunter is a highly skilled expert in every facet of fishing. His gear is top quality - I actually watched a fish bite my bait on the live sonar - I had no idea you could do that.

Other boats passed us and asked why we were catching so many fish. Hunter has amassed a thorough understanding of his craft from years of practice. He’s also amiable and was attentive to each of the four people in my group. Everyone liked him and felt the trip was well worth it. I can’t praise him enough, and I encourage you to save yourself the time and hassle and hire Captain Hunter.
