Wonderful time with Captain John! Taught us how to reel the sharks in. Couldnโt have asked for a better experience. Caught a bull shark and Atlantic sharks. The fishing trip was the best!!!

Booked an 8 hour trip.ย Captain was a great guy.ย He was working hard for us.ย Did not catch anything in 8 hours other than small sharks.ย Not sure if it is a bad time of year or not but it sure seemed like it.ย Also, I am an experienced fisherman and I want to bait my own hooks and cast my own poles.ย The captain did all of the fishing and we just reeled them in.ย Not my idea of fishing.ย Should have discussed this before booking.
Bret, I hate that you feel this way. Some days are easier than others. You could have booked a charter with anyone that day and they would have been fishing the exact same way. Rods in the rod holders until the fish is on. I suggest looking into renting your own boat and going out and putting your family on some fish with all the experience you have. I also remember your kids saying โweโve never caught this many fish on a charterโ. I can assure you that I knew it was a slow bite but writing a negative review and saying nothing to my face in person is not how men go about business where Iโm from.
