Hands down the best fishing experience ever! If you are even considering a trip while in Key Largo, just go ahead and book one with Captain Eric right now! My wife and I had a wedding to attend so we decided to splurge and make it into a winter vacation. The conditions were challenging to say the least but Capt. Eric did a stellar job at explaining our options as well as what to expect. After making quick work of catching live bait, we headed out into some nasty conditions. We had the option to play it safe and fish the reefs, or to run offshore and hope for the best. As the water depth increased and the conditions drastically decreased, Capt. Eric continually checked on my wife to ensure she was up for it. She said let’s go and that we did! As soon as we started putting lines out, the bite was on and we started putting fish in the cooler! We were both stoked and I think the fact that we were so happy in such nasty seas even started to get Capt. Eric excited. We caught several, missed several, and broke a few off before heading back in to hit the reefs. We ended up with a ton of fish and even better stories and pictures! Throughout the day I learned more than I could ever imagine, and couldn’t help but to want to do it again. I discussed some options and the weather with Capt. Eric and before you know it I was booked again a day later. The wife had some wedding responsibilities so this time I went alone. We caught bait and ran out for another fun filled day. Just like before, we got on the fish fast and had an epic day to say the least. We even stopped on the way back in just to limit out on Mangrove Snapper which took no time at all and was an absolute blast! By the time it was all said and done I wound up with a Yeti backpack heaping with a ton of fish! In case you were wondering, Capt. Eric does not fish for you and there is none of that just “reeling them in” bullshit! He will gauge your skill level and turn you loose all while teaching you how to do it better. To me it felt much more like a day on the water with a lifelong fishing buddy rather than just another charter trip. I can’t say enough about the experience we had, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to really fish! Thank you again Capt. Eric, I hope to see you again in the near future!

Eric was very adamant about making sure we had a good time and had a chance to catch good fish. He put us in the reef fish to catch supper and bait for offshore fishing We had a tuna and sailfish on but were unable to bring them in. Would definitely recommend!

Captain Eric has a beautiful boat and his wealth or experience made my fishing trip a great one. He was super patient and helpful to make sure I could reel in as many fish as possible throughout the day. I would definitely seek out captain Eric again next time I’m in the area.

Captain Eric was an amazing captain and host for our family. Inside his brand new boat he was able to put us right on the fish every-time we stopped! He was great with our kids and explained everything he was doing! Now our kids are begging for a second trip! The ride was also smooth on his boat! Can’t thank him enough for allowing us to make some incredible family memories during our vacation in these crazy times!!!
