Qas a bad day the 1st mate was awesome and went above and beyond what is expected of him. The capt was sub par by all means. He has a set trip planed no matter what on his gps. Heโs rigid and unwilling to look to other avenues if fishing is bad. Plus donโt know many who fish for king mackreal with 20 lb line and 7 lb drag. He also made the 1st mate do extra work by continuing to drive right thru weed lines while trolling. Even myself who is a rookie capt learning the ropes would ne er do such a stupid move. I would look for a break in weed line before trying to go to other side. 3 times qe missed good bites but instead of going back over that path he continued on. He also stated no 1 else had any luck but just before qe left a crew came in with amber Jackโs and another with 2 nice dolphins. As a capt itโs his responsibility to put people on fish if that means trying new spots or drifting or what ever you never do the same thing over and over it leads to failure.

Dallas Iโm sorry you feel this way however the captain did the right thing. We have fished everyday this week and the captain went over this with you several times. We even offered to shorten you day and save you money because the fishing was so poor
